ROK Media Co., Ltd. and NAMU Animation Co., Ltd. have signed a licensing agreement to
produce an animated adaptation of the popular webtoon My Daughter is the Final Boss,
currently serialized on Kakao Page and global platforms.
The webtoon is published on Kakao Page in Korea, Piccoma in Japan, and Tapas in the
United States. With growing popularity and rising brand recognition, the series has built
a broad and dedicated international readership.
Set in a female-oriented fantasy world featuring hunters, magic, monsters, and dungeons,
the story focuses on a parent-child relationship. The animation is planned as a coming-of-age
series that blends fantasy action with emotional depth.
Season 1 will consist of 12 episodes, each 25 minutes long, produced using a hybrid
2D and 3D animation pipeline. Aimed at viewers from their teens to late 30s, the series is
scheduled to launch across multiple media platforms in 2027.
