Expanding the Universe Through Animation

The upcoming animation, centered on overcoming climate change and achieving world peace, serves as

continuation of the previously released drama Ttadori Byeol Jihwanbo. This project aims to expand the

story’s universe and deliver the excitement and visual spectacle that could not be fully realized in live-action,

utilizing the strengths of animation.

2025–2026: ‘Year of Korea-China-Japan Cultural Exchange’

On May 7, 2024, the leaders of South Korea, China, and Japan designated 2025–2026 as the Year of

Korea-China-Japan Cultural Exchange, pledging to enhance cultural exchanges for future generations.

Following this, the culture ministers of the three countries devised concrete measures to strengthen

collaborations among East Asian cultural cities.

Amid these shifting international dynamics, the upcoming animation is expected to embody universal

themes of overcoming the climate crisis and promoting world peace, positioning itself as a symbolic work

of Korea-China-Japan cooperation.

The Adventure of a Mysterious Girl and the ‘Frog Environmental Robot’

Set in a village devastated by climate change-induced floods and viral outbreaks, the animation follows

the journey of Lili, a girl born with congenital deformities, and Sing-Sing, a frog-shaped environmental robot,

as they strive to protect world peace.

Lili’s guitar playing holds a special power that purifies people’s hearts, and a key storyline revolves around

whether she can use this ability to prevent a nuclear war that threatens the entire world.

“A Story That Will Inspire Viewers Worldwide”

Jeong Gu-yang, CEO of Ttadori Byeol Jihwanbo Co., stated, “I am honored that South Korea, China, and

Japan are working together to create meaningful content on the anniversary of the March 1st Movement,

focusing on overcoming the climate crisis and achieving world peace. Just as our ancestors stood against

injustice and fought for righteousness, I hope this collaboration will allow us to spread an even greater positive

influence across the globe.”

He added, “Short-form content is rapidly gaining popularity as audiences seek faster-paced storytelling.

Through this animation, we aim to provide an engaging and visually captivating experience while delivering

a universally resonant story that touches the hearts of viewers worldwide.”

Jo In, CEO of Namu Animation Co., remarked, “Leveraging our experience in producing globally recognized

works such as Detective Conan, Lupin the Third, and One Piece, we will ensure that this Korea-China-Japan

joint animation is a competitive and compelling addition to the global market.”

Meanwhile, Ttadori Byeol Jihwanbo Co. has secured 50% of the total production budget from a Chinese

drama and film production company involved in a government-backed project. The company is also pursuing

the establishment of a joint venture in China.

Namu Animation Co., an Inno-Biz certified small and medium-sized enterprise, received the Tower of Export

Award from President Moon Jae-in in 2020 and a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups in 2021.

With its extensive experience in the global market, the company plans to spearhead Korea-China-Japan

cooperation in animation production.

Planned Release During the ‘Year of Korea-China-Japan Cultural Exchange’

The joint animation is slated for an official release during the Year of Korea-China-Japan Cultural Exchange

(2025–2026). By raising awareness about climate change and the importance of world peace, the project aspires

to inspire and leave a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
